The trail goes through the woods for some time & I was told I may see a moose or 2 but that they don't usually bother cyclists. As I rounded a bend a moose was grazing close to the path so I came to a quick stop, jumped off the bike thinking that the moose would run off (or if unlucky run at me) but it gave me a cursory look & carried on grazing whilst I took photos.
