Good location, small but clean and good facilities

Was half an hour early for checking in,and was turned away. They did mention this on their website, but it was a bit of a hassle finding something to do for half an hour when all you want to do is clean yourself up.
Room is tiny, but I knew this from the get go. I did expect a cupboard or closet to put my stuff in, but that didn't fit in the room.
Everything is extremely clean though, and the amenities are great, as is the location.

      Eleven hours of sleep?!?

Another quick update, as I feel you may have the wrong impression of this place I'm staying at. It really is in the centre of the action. Also how did I suddenly sleep eleven hours? I'd like this option on demand for when I get back home. Tiresome week and rough weekend ahead but plenty of time to sleep in? Sounds like a job for eleven hours of …

Before I continue my story from where I left off, I am going to jump forward a little bit to share an insight with all of you lovely readers:

      Sheremetyevo was empty as ****.

      Alright, more of that later.

Where did I leave you guys again? Oh, right, I was on the train.

I'm going to fast-forward all of Schiphol, as …

After a very sound sleep we woke to a glorious morning in Yudanaka. As we had booked a late breakfast, we took the opportunity to go for a morning spa. The outdoor spa was particularly fresh on the morning with snow around. I chilled out for over forty minutes before dressing for breakfast. We were provided with cotton kiminos for breakfast which …

Up for an early start to Tsukiji fish markets. Getting better at metro services. We arrived at the markets at about 7:45, having being unable to convince that girls to get up at 4 to catch the tuna auction. The markets were busy and dangerous with fast tray trucks screaming around in all directions. At more than one intersection there were point …

      Smile, Nod, Point

Upon stepping into the Tokyo airport, I realized a crucial fact about myself. I don't speak Japanese. Not a word - I couldn't even greet the customs agent at the counter with anything but a smile and a "hi", assuming that this English word has become universal. Cue feelings of guilt at my own American arrogance (of course they know what "hi" ...
