Arriving in French Lick is such a surprise. You're driving, driving, driving....then all I a sudden you round the corner ...there sits the most magnificent building you've ever seen. West Baden. So beautiful and so elegant. We went a little further to the French Lick Springs (where the Casino is located). We had planned to eat at the buffet/cafeteria but they stopped serving at 2 pm. We were about 80 feet below the surface and at one stage, because we were under a hill, it was 160 feet.
Everything about this tour was just spectacular!
