      ... was morning. But it would be 2:30 or 4 am. Now that it is morning, I feel somewhat like I never slept. The place we slept in kiruna was cool. We had essentially a form room with private bathroom. But there were six rooms together with a common kitchen and living room.       ... of course I press large and place one of the mighty large paper cups under the spout and wait.....and wait....and wait!!

      It has filled the cup about 1/3 of the way and the woman behind the desk informs me that is it!! Errr, excuse me, but I wanted a large one and she replies "that is a large one" and of course got charged for a large one!!! One mouthful and its gone!! If that is a large one then I hate to think what a small cup would consist of!!!

      ... had a safety briefing on how to survive the night in our arctic sleeping bag. At the end of the tour we went in to the ICEbar to have some drinks. The drinks are served in glasses made of ice and you have to drink them fast. Non-alcoholic drinks freeze in the glass and alcoholic drinks melt a hole through the ice and drip out the bottom!    Dinner was back in the hotel. The food culture is ...
