There, we were given a pack of snacks (which none of us knew we were getting and therefore had too many) and our hired gear for the trail (e.g. some people had hired sleeping bags and air mattresses). I had just opted for a walking pole and decided to shun the luxury of a big sleeping bag and a mattress, a decision I later regretted as the nights were freezing cold and the camping grounds were full of jagged stones. We sat down and ate at "Augusta Bar & Restaurant" where we ordered a Margherita large pizza for about $15 US dollars. I have to admit that this pizza was delicious! ... not to far away. The hostel had warned us that nobody goes out on a Monday, but with Rob's birthday we felt we must celebrate. They were right, it was dead and the only place open was a strip club/brothel. We thought why not, and joined another group of people. It was crazy, and me and nadia were the only none strippers in there. It was fun, but we both felt sorry for the women and decided to leave after a big, long boogie. The next morning we both did not feel so great, so ...

... have flashbacks to the Peru markets, but luckily Kellie was quite restrained and we left having only bought things from one shop. We were going to visit one of the oldest churches in the region, but it was closed for lunch. Not having the best luck we headed from here to visit some friends of Michael and Cassia's who lived nearby in a gated community. Their house was lovely and the lunch they gave us was even nicer. They showed us great hospitality and even had a ...
