    ... main thing being the ridiculous amount of skyscrapers. It is literally a "concrete jungle", as they say. It is impossible to grasp just how massive the city is until you are IN it. Anyway we finally arrived at the hostel to find that it had been double booked by mistake so I had to move to a different one! He also told us that the hotel rooms were expected to be all sold out at this time, but it is only at 60%2525 occupancy because of the inflated costs! He also said that things are changing in Brazil and people are more worried about the elections happening in October than they are about the World Cup.  ...

    Tuesday 5th Nov '13 Flew out of Brazilian airport at Foz de Iguazu to São Paulo and even though we arrived ahead of time it took almost as long to collect our luggage as it did to fly from iguazu to São Paulo. Finally out of airport at 11pm and glad to be staying at airport hotel for the night and even better that we were given an upgrade. Josh and I were grateful for 24hr room service.     ... mountain range, to Machu Picchu and Iguazu Falls, to the mega cities of the the Atlantic, to the amazing wildlife all over, to the windswept steppe and mountains of Patagonia. South America gave us to much and it was a truly awesome place to spend the first four months of the WT.

    We do admit however that we were looking forward to heading into an English speaking country and maybe not standing out quite so much with the girls blonde hair! So long South America, bring on Down Under!
