Pretty chilled day today. Woke up to the smells of breakfast being cooked by Josie and Bill which was great. Such a treat having fresh fruit and home made muffins for breakfast. We the headed into Tacoma and went to Point Defiance Park - really lovely park with nice views of the coastline. Whilst we were there we saw a couple getting married in the rose garden so ...

Good job we got that upgrade, Liam, Ciaran, Orla and Michael all did their bit for the US economy.
We drove through Seattle as the sun was setting, and the 4th of July Fireworks were just starting.

... spend my time on the flight. They did have TV screens in the seat-backs, but they were really small and there were only a few channels that played the same movies every two hours or so. And none of them were very good movies. But I had nothing else to do, so I tiredly watched the whole flight.
In Chicago it took over an hour to get through customs and to my connecting gate. Thankfully my layover was 2 hours, so ...
