ETAP Rennes Montgermont Route de Saint Malo

I went just one day to Rennes. I thought it was really pretty since all of the houses are made of
rough stones, des maisons bretonnes typiques. Aussi, les maisons sont faites
toutes un peu croches, ca donne un petit style que j'aimais bien.



Et oui effectivement, il fait beau plusieurs fois par jour. It does rain a LOT.
There is mainly what is in every french city, bars, restaurants and shoe shops!

Been chopping some wood for the fire for the last 2 days with ayms cousins and family. 1 of ayms cousins has an old merc he doesnt need, so he has told us we can have it.
Its gonna cost qbout 400 euros to get in insured, mot and on the road, but im hoping rose and mickou will come and split the costs with us.
Petrol to tunisia through spain and africa will cost about 300 euros so its not too bad, hoping to get work in south of france next week to fund it.

... a new town or city is far more compelling than grannies lovely soup. The plan is to move on in the next few days, possibly meeting up with my friends Rose and Mickou (sp) if we can get work along the way.

Unfortunately the fairy tale turretts and cobble streets failed to live up to expectation and seemed to lack any ambiance. This was probably not helped by us arriving at lunchtime when but everything was shut - French siesta time. After wandering around the deserted streets ...

... downtown Rennes. We split into groups and gave a small group of people a small tour of Rennes, we learned how to do this last week. Anna and I had to leave early for riding, so I do not know how this went, but I think it went alright. We went back to the hall after the lesson. We ate supper there, it was a buffet of true Brittany food. After we all got to learn how to dance to Brittany music. It was interesting and lots of fun.

... about the speed, I´m okay with time moving. My family has had a stressful last few weeks and a lot of exciting things have happened and I can´t wait to hear, see and do everything with them. I just found out last night that our mare, Mia, had her baby last Friday. A nice big colt! It was exciting and I´m looking forward to pictures. I´m glad that I´m fulfilling my dream of living in France and I am so glad that I didn´t opt to stay home because of where I am in life ...

... will take four option courses in Avancé. These "option" courses are really just classes that you can take to outside of "block language classes". I'll be taking a History of Architecture, Literature: Textual Analysis, Civilization, and after the 15th, a course on the European Union. These are the four classes that I have to take for credit back at PLU. It is going to be very fun. I know at least one person in each of my classes and that will be nice to have someone to share ...

On fait nos sacs, parce que ce soir, on se rend à Rennes. J'arrive vers 9 heures 30 à Sun, et Anna arrive un peu plus tard pour enregistrer les voix de nos auto-promos et autres (NDA : Anna est la "voix officielle" de Sun FM, et notre accent français faisant défaut, elle doit enregistrer les textes que nous avons composés pour les fameuses auto-promos.
