      ... we meet someone they get my name easy and struggle with steve??? go figure only is africa is my name normal...but they said it means china in protagesuse..sometimes they forget and call me china...today we went i made a little friend, her name is sara. im not sure how old she is yet. i guess under two. oh we got a tv!!! with national geographic, history, and discovery, some other stuff too. p.s. we r watching the big east coast storm

      ... well dressed, some badly. It struck me how skyscrapers nestle alongside poor housing with gaps in between. Is this what happens in cities like Luanda? The soul is driven out to be replaced by comparatively lifeless skyscrapers.

      I visited Gustave Eiffels "Palacio de Ferro" and then Igreja de Nossa Senhora dos Remedios which was packed to the rafters.

      An exciting but exhausting four hour walk was followed by a relaxing afternoon at the Club Naval.
