... the bride, a very pretty girl in a traditional white dress. As she entered the chapel we could hear the strains of the music we’d heard earlier – a lovely wedding in a beautiful spot.

We set off on the circular walk round Mount Oybin and first came upon the graveyard – a very attractive place in a quiet corner; the graves were of all sizes, some small and fairly plain, others much ...

After two and half hour train ride (including a 30 minute delay) we arrived in Jelenia Gora and quickly found a taxi to take us to the Agroturystyka in a nearby village called Myslakowice. I showed marc and as soon as I did I realised that it wasn't dirt that was surrounding my boots, it was the boots themselves! For the entire dinner I had been dancing my feet on the table legs and the ground, completely unaware that I had been doing so and grinding the rubber grip things off the bottom of Marc's boots. Oh dear. The floor was covered and most of Marc's ...

Friday was the first of Czech trek which is a DIS adventure tour in the Czech Republic! We left Copenhagen at 5 pm and took an overnight bus to Hruba Skala. We arrived at 7 am to a castle in the middle of a gorgeous hilly fall landscape only to find out this is where we are staying! We had breakfast right when we got there and were outside soon after to start the day.
The first thing we did was archery. We practiced for an hour or two and then had a contest. I ended up doing ...
