    Sunday 6 July 2014 Cesky Krumlov - Telc

    Very warm 28C

    Today we left Chesky Krumlov and headed for another (aren't they all) historic town just east called Telc,

    We caught the Student Agency bus again for the 40 minute trip to Chesky Budejovic - home of Budweiser beer - but although thirsty didn't have time to find and sample the local product....

    From the home of beer, we transferred to a train and after 2 hours ...

    Wonderful day today exploring Znojmo with Jenny we walked and talked and laughed our way through the town from city square to the church and chapel had coffee and explored the forest then found fruit market with fresh cherries and thEn moved onto the beads and jewellery shops Bought some presants.     ... community. The first one is being retained as a museum. Trebic also has a Benedictine Abbey dating from the 12th century and St. Procopius Basilica . which we toured. The Basilica dates from 1101, burned down in the 1600's, was used for various things such as a stable and for beer storage and was finally rebuilt in the 1700's. Lastly, we visited the Jewish cemetery which has approximately 1100 family private and family graves and memorials to victims ...

    ... dopravy a prostě všeho, co mělo kola nebo jelo po vodě, v celkové délce přes 30 tisíc km. Nejdelší dobu jsme strávili v Kanadě, kde jsme po většinu času pracovali a vydělávali nezbytné peníze na naše cesty.     After staying the night not too far from Trebic's town centre, we decided to walked in to take a closer look. Roamed through the main street before heading up a nearby hill overlooking the town. Found a park bench with great views and lazed in the afternoon sun. Before night fall we drove a little further North, and by luck watched an amazing sunset.
