... it was just not happy with all that mineral water! After lunch we had about 2 hours to wander about and do some shopping. Something kind of funny happened after lunch. There were two people in our
group from Oman. They were very nice, but I noticed they seemed to be

Had to use two hands to take my inhaler then I overdosed on it just to get to sleep in the hell hole of a tent. Ice box by night and fiery furnace by morning. Talking of holes, **** holes. I am writing this from my stateroom, finally on our river boat! Let me tell you how we got here.

We left Prague at 8:30 this morning. We rode about 2 hours on a bus to Karlovy Vary, a spa town in the Czech Republic. This town is known for it's mineral water and people often go there to rest and recover from illness. The water is said to have healing properties. There are beautiful lixury hotels and fancy restaurants and shops. Every shop had ...

... volunteer weekend near the Czech/Germany border. We traveled by train which made a nice change from the usual intercity transport of buses. The extra comfort and sights made for an enjoyable trip, even if it took a bit longer than busing. We got off the train and found ourselves squarely in the middle of nowhere. Darkness had fallen and we ventured up the road for half an hour until we found our accommodation, an old ...
