Day three was amazing! Today, we went to Sun Moon Lake and took a boat cruise to explore the lake. We saw Lula island and the thirteen bamboo islands surrounding it. After that fantastic view, we went to an island with a temple on top! The view was even more dazzling than the view from the boat! Then the boat dropped us off at the pier, and we walked to a ...

The hike with two main breaks took us 8 hours, which meant having left the car at 9:10am there was not much time left before dark when we arrived back at about 5:00pm.

Although I didn't get to go to Taipei, per se, I stayed in Taoyuan for the night. 7/11 everywhere. Literally a block or two away from each other. I believe Taipei itself has the most convenient stores per square footage and it's apparent when you arrive! I was in a suburb of Taipei and was able to enjoy the delectable items the country had to ...
