Bringing your family along on your Las Vegas holiday can both be horrible, or a blessing (often somewhere in between). Understanding how to manage your family members not only takes family members know-how (which as a parent, you probably already have), but also a small preparing primarily based on this sprawling mecca of family members-dom. Our backpacks are ready! Gosh they are heavy. Patricia's is 48 pounds. Mine is 53 pounds. Heavy, but they have to carry five days of food in a bear canister. We'll be o.k.
It's dawn and our good friends Paul and Beth Salyers show up with their taxi service to Yosemite National Park. Away we go!

I offer to take him and she gleefully accepts. I drive him to the field and, I park to seek his coach. I ...

... in the car....and we depart...so many hands waving from the house. And the crazy drive begins. Indian music is on the radio. The boys up front are chatting in Malayalam. The windows are open because they are smoking. The Indian air is in my face. I relax and enjoy. Twenty minutes out of town, an amazing thing occurs. Kishu (the driver) takes a cell phone call. THIS NEVER HAPPENS. Drivers here don't take phone calls. It's too dangerous in ...

For the past few days our desert communities and SoCal have had an unusual down pour of scatter showers. This has put a crimped in my vacation hourly event - swimming in the outside pool. Although the thundershowers have been sporadic - it is just not wise to test nature and hope the lighting does not strike while swimming. I know it sounds ridiculous but I have been around lighting strikes and it is weird being in ...
