    This story is about my last day in India. It is bitter sweet. Six weeks is a long time to be away from my loved ones at home. But now I have loved ones in India that would like me to stay. They are an incredible piece of human engineering and hard labor. Take a look at the photos. The well is constructed of Kerala Red Lava Blocks. It is perhaps one to two meters in diameter (inside).     The architect also mentioned that the TVA would be adjusted to 7%, not 5.5%. I was thinking this must be some new tax law or something this year. And VOILÁ! What do I see in my mailbox? A newsletter from www.survivefrance.com!

    ... awkward. We kept trying to remember where the bad parts were. Then, we remembered they're all bad. Courage is what finally got us out of that crazy place & we made our way back to the main road with a lot more scratches & gouges but intact. I almost jumped out & kissed the pavement.
