... set up our kit and do our usual dive briefing. Then it's out to our third training dive at Batu Layar. We learn to do our James Bond style back roll entry off the boat which looks much more impressive than kitting up in the water. At around 8m down we perform CESA (Controlled Emergency Surface Assent), so we know what to do if we ever ran out of air. We go down to the bottom where we remove our masks then replace them and change to our buddies alternate regulator and swim ...

... driver and I can only guess it was 'don't take these people anywhere else'. The driver was perfectly nice and 10 minutes later we're in town for 15. In town, just by the Bus Station, perfect! Open up the screenshot with info about getting the local bus to where we are staying and get looking for the bus, but can't find anything about it. Next we get a really annoying bloke walking up to us every 30 seconds 'where you going, talk to me' Becky goes to wait in the ...

... But at least they broke on an island where shoes aren't a necessity. Our first full day we were up bright and early and on the beach soaking up the sun, reading and generally doing what you do on an island - not very much. Caz did make friends with some fish who cleaned her feet for her and we both managed to take shade underneath a coconut tree without being hit on the head and killed by a falling coconut (this actually causes more deaths than you'd realise!). We did find ...
