... Harun tells us it is unlikely because they get scared away from the bubbles we make so there is more chance to see them snorkelling. We get to the dive site and go down to the bottom. Harun does a few skills with us like flooding our masks and buoyancy control at depth but then we are free to go off and do our dive. We go to 11.3m but the visibility is only 5-6m so we don't see any sharks unfortunately. The highlight was seeing a Hawksbill Turtle nibbling on some coral. We ...

... had left was enough money for breakfast, coffee and toast, and our boat ticket back to the mainland. Back to Kuala Besut, itself in possession of only one bank with an ATM, a bank I'd failed to find prior to leaving for the islands which is why we were so restricted on budget while there. ... area. Planning on spending a night here we soon changed our minds as there was literally noting to do. Mini Bus got us as 10:30am, half an hour late, and we finally got into Gua Musang at about 12:50, the train was meant to leave at 1:30pm. We got dropped at the train station so went and bought our tickets for the 4 hour 45 minute journey, MYR7 (£1.40). 1:30pm came and went, at around 2:15 the train turned up and on we got. Luckily it had A/C and actual seats as I ...

We wake up and leave by taxi for our flight again seeing KL airport. We try to contact Vietnam air to no avail. God knows how these two will make it back to HCM. Flights and plans run through my head. We arrive at the airport and have brekkie at a fast food chain. Then running around at the last minute trying to see if we could change their flights to no avail we board out flight to Kota Bharu. Arriving I see a stand at the airport offering ...
