      So finally we 've arrived in Malaysia, Got off the plane at Klia and bought a taxi voucher.Went to find a tax, but none of the wanted to take us to Melaka! Eventually one taxi driver volunteered and off we wet, we gave him the details of our hotel and off we went. Lots of heavy traffic and a taxi driver who didn't seem to know where he was going eventually we arrived at our hotel. The Majestic Malacca. Cocktails, a meal and an early night.

      ... the gardens. Popular with joggers and walkers. Small cafés wafting smells of fresh coffee. We were caught in a heavy shower of rain and waited the worst of it out under the Elm trees lining the path. Returned to the hotel for jumpers and scarves and walked to the museum.       Since my seat was directly behind the white to the roof and what looks like a TV antanea I took the opportunity to look to the view from various points. We went to the Romdeng restaurant which is part of a fantastic network of charities that gives jobs, training, accommodation and hope to street children.
