The rest of the day was much better. We had orientation and we learned about the foundation as well as how we would be teaching English to the students. I'm really excited to teach the students. Today I signed up to tutor two 18 year olds, and it was so much fun. They were the sweetest, kindest People and they were always smiling. Today was absolutely magnificent. After breakfast (in which I met new people, go me!), I took the van to this cute little school. I taught third graders animals, and they were so smart and funny. They understood what I was teaching them, and was filled with enthusiasm. They did run and scream a lot, but it was entertaining. In the afternoon, I made more friends during lunch and actually ate lunch, which was magnificent. It was exhausting ...

Today has been insane. In a good way. I woke up after sleeping like a rock (go Charlotte!), and I barely at breakfast (as usual). The Thai beds are surprisingly comfortable, and have given me little back pain so far, but we'll see. Today I went to two different schools and taught English. It was very difficult. The first class was 5th graders, and absolutely none of them spoke even a word of English. It was very difficult trying to teach them festivals and holidays, and I had hoped ...
