On our way to Metz today, we stopped in Sarrebourg. Marge thought we might find some family records there. We stopped in the police station to ask directions to the town hall/records office and then in the tourism office for better directions. A very nice lady in the tourism office told us that the records we were looking for could be found in Hartzviller, about a 20-minute drive away. Marge was excited. John used the plunger to clear the water intake then filled up the water infill bowl, cut off the water intake, turned over the engine with the stop button up, and then after a couple of seconds open the sea cock, that is when the engine gave the most demand for water. The blockage shot forward and into the salad bowl i.e. our filter. It worked, so God Bless Ted.

... didn't even know people drank vermouth straight. We also had shared appetizer plates before our main course of burger and fries. Shockingly, most of the others were carefully eating this meal with knife and fork! Although we'd already over-eaten, we somehow made room for the ice cream and marinated cherry dessert.
