... of a road dash on that bridge. On the way back to NEPA, we stopped and checked out the Delaware Water Gap, which FYI, is not in Delaware ;) Next stop, an invite from our new Boathouse friend, Garrett, to a NASCAR race at Pocono Raceway, at the end of turn one on the fence of the infield - that's a mouthful! GO Danica and Jr.! The race was exciting and the people watching more exciting. There were million dollar rigs, repurposed school buses and everything ...

It's where people still write checks at the grocery store and say hello even though they don't know who the you are :) We're both road weary and right now are planning to base here for a few months. ... 1 hour trip as we run into two bridges out for repairs and a road closure. Thank you PA! Lucky for us, the setting was bucolic and centered on a huge lake with lots of picnic sites, hiking trails, and camping areas. We limited our excursions to simple Lakeside views and picnicked on a bench near the water.

Since, we had previously booked a campsite in Saugerties, NY (located near Woodstock and Phoenicia in the Catskill Mountains) before the problem of ...

    ... stage left.

Because we had a nice dock to work with, we had a moderately quick load in. I was done with my screens by about 3:30. Afterwards I went ahead with getting my camera set up. Due to an awkward position, I had a heck of a time with my back when the show was over. The camera was set to where the tripod was elevated to its highest point. With a short platform and a short seat there was no room for me ...
