    ... there isn't one close to our house which seems opposite from the situation back home. It seems that for every McDonald's there are 2 or 3 KFC's here. Anyway we got there and I had a chocolate muffin and a mango frappe, which was really good. The chocolate muffin was a little much for me now being used to the Chinese food diet. After dessert we walked around the downtown area a little to take in the sites.

    It was a little disheartening, knowing that we were in Xi'an and not able to make it to the terracotta warriors… I comforted myself by hearing the wise words of my dad ring in my ears, "You gotta save something for next year…"
