... for the day. That morning I had dressed in underarmour, a longsleeve shirt and a polo with a sweater just in case. It was October 29, so the weather should have been quite chilly. To our utter surprise we had 60 degree weather and none of those layers were needed once we reached the golf course.

Comparing gas and other energy prices is nothing like as hard as it used to be - in fact it's definitely one of those jobs where afterwards you'll wonder why you didn't do it ages ago. Especially because all those months that you've been meaning to check it out, you could have been saving money on your gas bills.

We were delighted to spend the night at a beautiful old hotel - The Old Manor House Hotel - overlooking a golf course - the Lundin Golf Course (not St Andrews - bit further away) - and with sea views. We had a lovely long walk on the beach and both made sure we touched the waters of the north Atlantic for the first time.

... as they had just gotten out of school. We found a nice little pub in a town named Elie and had a nice pint as well as a nice tomato soup with a bacon roll. Quite nice!

We headed back to Frenich Farm and arrived back at about 5:00. What a really nice day. Tomorrow we head to Edinburgh. We will turn in our car and tour around the city a bit more. Our flight is heading home on Saturday morning. Sorry to leave, but looking forward to getting home.

... I didn't expect so much beauty.  I hiked to the Edinburgh Castle and that was the highlight of my trip!!!! It was a little expensive to get in at 12 pounds but I loved every min of it!! Had some lunch and then hit the train and headed home.  Again just had a quiet night in and relaxed then got up sunday morning and headed home.  Took the train again home.  : ) 

... bar for a few beers, Hayden struggled through his one. Tonight we had a curry for dinner and the boys are having a serious game of Gears of War on the XBox 360. Mike has booked a round of golf at St Andrews tomorrow morning, I'm going to have a wander around the shops while the boys do that and then we will find a pub to watch the ABs vs Italy. ... rules. No one whinged about why this thing was being done in this way, and they knew when their time was up and they needed to shut up. It was great. Anyway, I'm back in Edinburgh again (obviously). I'm going to the doctor tomorrow (because it's free - HA!) about my jaw. Oh, and since my jaw was all grotesquely swollen, I didn't let anyone take a picture of me, so you'll just have to wait to see my purple hair.
