    We flew to Algarve (Faro), Portugal for $2289.66 USD (1831.88 Euros). When we arrived there we stayed in a hotel called "sleepin Faro" for $17.81 USD (14.25 Euros).     ... where we are "hurricane hole" so we are very well protected. We have got no neighbours just birds (storks and herons) and shellfish around us and it is extremely quiet. So quiet that it is almost strange! From time to time we walk to the village of Culatra which is a 25 minutes walk on the beach when the tide is low.     ... Portuguese to holiday. We all had a nice time at the beach, although no one got in the water. It started out quite windy, and although this eased off a bit eventually it definitely wasn't as hot as some of the last few days. But it was all nothing a few cocktails couldn't fix!
