Camels & Sandstorms in the Dunhuang Dunes

... were and why on earth we were putting them on the fire. The nights we spend were surprisingly warm for the desert, although I think this was due to the stormy weather and clouds which kept a lot of the heat in. Nothing much else to report apart form a hell of a lot of sand and a couple of lizards and beetles running around who had amazingly made a home and were able to survive in this baron, parched and desolate land.
