... cake in the lounge room downstairs that guests are very welcome to eat! We walked in to the town centre to try and find somewhere for lunch, but cafes were not easy to find. We eventually found quite a cosy place but as it was after 2 o'clock things like soup and filled potatoes were no longer available. ... day. As we were walking back to the hotel, all the donkeys were trotted home via the main street. They all had bells and streamers on them and it really was like something from a 60s movie.
Tomorrow we head for a couple of days in Norfolk, and will spend time in Cambridge, and we'll also have a look around the Norfolk broads.
PS: despite not really knowing why we came here, Skegness has been a hoot and we're glad we came.

... was very interesting with a lot of detail in the ceiling in the way of decoration & shields. Once we were done looking around the church we headed back to the guildhall which was open by now. Missy ended up getting a sheet that had her find different colored mice throughout the hall. They also had a sand box for the children to dust through for finds like an archeologist.
