Heading to cooler weather
With no cell phone and no wifi I decided to check out the town of Ocracoke, get in a beach run and swim and get on the ferry to points north. A vacation from the vacation - at the Outer Banks!
... and get to talk to one of the actors in the play. We drive by Andy Griffith's driveway and notice the gate to his estate is open. It has always been closed when we drove by before. We drive to the Manteo waterfront and plan to come back here later today to walk and shop.

Enjoying Pittsburgh & then non-stop to Manteo!
... the whole beach to ourselves! We spend just a few minutes overlooking the ocean, happy to be here, all the way from the California Coast to the Carolina Coast!!! I thank God he has taken us safely across this whole USA!
I go to bed knowing I have a whole day to relax and enjoy the Outer Banks and Manteo tomorrow. This is going to be a vacation from our vacation. :)
