    ... heading to the train station this morning, we visited the neighborhood market in Place Monge near our hotel. Between the assortment of seafood, cheese, raw and cooked meat, produce, flowers, and handicrafts, the market certainly put ours to shame. We pretended to be locals and sat at the bar at the brasserie across the street to have noissettes and croissants. Fueled for the day we headed to the Gare de Nord to catch our train to Bruges.     ... cos it felt like we walked most of the way there! Off we went, a short hop, skip and a jump and we arrived at customs. No problems there bar desperately needing the toilet and not having one on the French side of customs... ?!?!?! What on earth are they thinking?!     Our last entry left us in Canterbury on the South East part of the English coast. While this post is a wee bit late and is being completed in the Belgium sunshine on the outskirts of Bruges. In between there has been some of the greatest adventures of our trip as yet.
