... I was not! Don't really get why this statue is so interesting though. They have chocolates and candy in the shape of the mini man peeing everywhere but I managed to hold off..The figure has been repeatedly stolen: the current statue is a copy from 1965. The original is kept at the Maison du Roi on the Grand Place.
Finally we headed to Mini Europe. Had to take the metro which again Sarah was not a fan of. Took about 30 min and ...
... from under the tower! We then went back to the hostel to get ready for the pub crawl which started at 9. Some girls in my dorm room gave us their wrist bands so that we saved ourselves the 15euro entry fee, and then I repaid them by coming home late and waking them all up by making heaps of noise when I got home!
Despite my eye-opening first few minutes in Paris, I ended up thoroughly enjoying it and am really keen to return as there is so much to see! ...

You know what.....? It's bloody hard being a man sometimes.........Patience is one thing that immediately leaps to mind....and tolerance.....and.....
... but would have been quicker if with us. We made our way round to the sea lock and again had to wait ages. The lock opened and we went in. This was different again as it had a floating plank on each the side of the lock which gave a funny sensation and of course our fenders were not at the right height! A police boat came into the lock with us and as they came in, the movement on the water was like being at sea – most peculiar. We don't understand ...
