      Today is my last day in Germany (off to Miami tomorrow morning 9am) and I have spent most of the day packing. Quite a challenge if you have never really used a trekking backpack before but I kind of managed to get all my stuff in :) The secret seems to be to pack all heavy items close to your back and surround them with medium to light items for optimal balance.       ... and advice, but seriously, we were tired and just want to get to the apartment. So we set off with a map for the apartment in the rain. It was very busy with crowds heading to the Opera but we did get the most magnificent views of the cathedral as we walked past.       ... 2010! Marie lived with us for 3 months in 2010 and again for a few weeks in 2011 while she was a Rotary Exchange Student sent to Proserpine.
