Finally our number is up and we get our car rental... Ford Focus wagon w/ diesel fuel... awesome. Packed up and ready to leave this airport we head out to find our way up the coast to our home for the week in Viterbo.

... off down the main street through the oldest area of the city, before popping back off at our apartment.

The final area for us to visit was the northern part of the city, where the Spanish steps are located, getting an ice cream on the way. The area around the Spanish steps was evidently the shopping district of the city, and the steps themselves were full of tourists, and again ...

... these two days, walking the streets of Rome, visiting the piazzas, museums ,restaurants, gelaterias ,stores was very enjoyable, I hope we get a chance to do it again some other time. It reminded me of the tour we took 20 years ago with Anabel and Carlos, that time we could only spend two days in Rome.

Still haven't been able to find a cyber to add pictures, I'd asked where and maybe tomorrow.
