We arrived in the beautiful alpine town of Corvara, Italy around 4pm on Wednesday. A few hours later than expected after puncturing our tyre on the sharp rocks that stick out from the narrow roads. Left Perugia in the morning and drove across to Assisi, which looks absolutely stunning when viewed from Perugia, the other side of the valley. Arrived to find Assisi in the throes of a medieval festival, Calendimaggio di Assisi.
