We hebben hier lekker gegeten. Je kan hier ook roken bij de bar, dat is wel prettig vooral als je op de luchthaven moet wachten.

    Quality Hotel with convenience

I stayed in this hotel as we were transferring terminals in Dubai between Canada and Afghanistan. It is conveniently located in the middle of the airport and you don't need a travel visa to stay here. Right on top of all of the duty free shops (it's like a huge mall actually!). I think this is a very good hotel and all of the amenities were decently priced and the room was well appointed with everything you could want.

Beautiful Flight! We flew over the full of Russia, directly over Moscow, and Lovograd. It was daylight so could see quite a bit, also flew over Iran. The sun set a few minutes after we landed in Dubai. Spending the night at the. Dubai Intl Hotel, right in the airport. This place is massive.

... have been about 12-15, but I wasn't going to argue. We exchanged our docket for our Big Bus ticket and set off on the Blue Route. We didn't get off at the Jumeirah Mosque or Mercator or the Beach Park or the actual beach. Our first hop off was at Souk Madinat Jumeirah, mainly for a toilet stop. We had a good view of Burj Al Arab from here. But we were surprised to find a modern souk (market place) and it was very interesting. Half hour between buses can ...

For those who don't know already, I am a Designer from the Fashion Fraternity and dream of making it big in the business. Hence the highlight of my 2nd day in UAE (the first of my actual vacationing) was visiting Dubai Mall's Fashion Avenue. Under the skylight of the circular area teaming with a million fabric butterflies hung from the ceiling, I was left in shock as I made rounds of the place floor after floor. Between the ogling and staring I managed to enter a few outlets and see ...

... but I made the mistake of flying with my contacts in, so my eyes were miserable. Having shed some tears earlier didn't help.

I have to say that getting through Customs in Dubai was the easiest I've ever experienced. Finding the right line was really confusing and the wait was a little long, but getting cleared into the country was no hassle at all. The Immigration officer, dressed in traditional Emirates clothing, asked if ...

... President (or in my eyes Captain Kirk) sitting at the helm overlooking several teams diligently working away at their computers in front of large glass windows giving a view to the continuous and hectic airport traffic. The Network Control VP outlined in detail the different teams and their functions. The in depth level of planning and coordination was unbelievable. When you enter an airplane, you don't tend to think about the hundreds of people ...
