Decided to take a morning excursion to Cassis even though we planned to disembark a day early in Marseille - turned out to be a great decision as we probably would not have bothered to get ourselves there on our own, & it is a beautiful town! Especially loved the little boat trip to three of the closest calanques. Soaked up the sunshine at a waterside café then wandered through the narrow back streets & through the bustling local market.
... than the place next door that wanted $50 for a cheeseburger!! What?! After a long, relaxing dinner we started the long walk home, which actually didn't seem that long to me this time around but Amy had blisters so I could imagine it was hardly bearable for her. ... a Hyeres. Nous avosn visite les iles d'or, Porquerolles, Port Cros, mais aussi St Tropez, et bien sur Hyeres. Nous avons passe un excellent sejour, chez mamie, excellente cuisine, soleil toute la semaine, eaux turquoises, etc. Quel super destination pour finir l'ete.
