At 3883 metres above sea level a 360degree panorama opens up taking in 38 peaks towering over 4000 metres and 14 glaciers in the French, Italian and Swiss Alps. A trip that was intended to last only an hour ended up lasting almost three hours. In his wisdom, Jonathan decided to take a scenic detour up miles and miles of steep winding roads which turned out to be even worse than the bloody death stairs.
