Monday October 3

Caught the ICE train at 8.50am – arrived at Interlaken at 2pm. We had 2 single facing window seats in 1st class and it was a most enjoyable journey. Had lunch in the dining car – met an older German couple – he was an ex-banker – who were delightful company during a very tasty meal.

Tomorrow I leave Basel to travel to Brussels - 8 hour train. Thanks Robbie, it's been great and I can see why you love Switzerland!
