Last night I ate dinner with people from the Xu-Bo organization, Julian (the other volunteer) and Marco (the high-school student) where both there too. It was a good dinner with many chinese dishes and an amazing desert, they said it was a coffee cake but it didn't taste like coffee and I really enjoyed it!

By the end of the dinner it was confirmed that today (Wednesday) I would hopefully be on a train back to Shanghai.

... lunch with Alice with has become something of a ritual and is one that I welcome as it is nice to not eat lunch alone. Wednesday was long and I was extremely tired by the end of the day and welcomed my bed when it was time to crash.

Thursday was number 11 in the lesson repeat, don’t get me wrong but the fact that all the classes are learning the same this and having to teach all 12 classes the same thing is really beginning to kill the fun of it. ...

... it was rather nice to be out in the open and to be walking an breathing fresh air for a few hours as we roamed the zoo and saw the animals. I don’t know what to really say about the zoo other than that it was slightly depressing and quite sad.
