Today we went on countryside tour. Full 8hrs went to Cannes where they hold film festival just missed finished Sunday. On to Grasse a 12th century village just like you see in the movies cobbled streets to narrow for cars to drive through old wooden doors had lunch at Gourdon an old village with views over the Alps then on to Tourrettes Sur Loupan a medieval village ...

... have moved with the times!!! Unfortunately for me I became unwell and so was unable to go o dinner and partake in other activities but Phil did and he enjoyed himself. He did however get told off as he was in shorts and thongs - the dress code was smart casual but he probably saw the casual bit - they let him stay as it was the first night! Today is our last day in Sicily and it is off to France. Up at 0515 to be at the airport by 7am.
We left at 0955. It was sad to say goodbye but looking forward to Part 2 of my holiday.

We left and had a stop in Olbia in Sardenia, where we spent about 4 hours. We walked around the terminal and had something to eat.

... beaches - I guess this is pretty much every beach. It wasn't like everyone was doing it but its socially acceptable for women to tan without a top.
