Cannes...what can I say?

I arrived at almost 10pm on Sunday after a seven hour train ride that was supposed to be five. We were stopped on the tracks for over an hour in Toulon due to an accident. I had purchased a 1st Class ticket thinking that five hours would be great in the same style as the train from Amsterdam. Think again. There were no free drinks and served meals. There was no wifi. Last weekend was amazing! On Friday night, I went out to eat in Cannes with my study abroad group. On Saturday, I visited St. Tropez by boat on an excursion through CIC. In order to learn how to use the buses, my director organized a day trip to Grasse.

We ate breakfast in Sainte-Maxime at a small cafe. They gave us humorously large amounts of confiture, and we ate it all.
Sainte-Maxime was clearly a resort town, as we had learned the night before.
