Monaco: The best of it all in one little country
... floating in a beautiful, serene place lost to time.
Our dinner at VistaMar in the Hermitage Hotel (One of Monte Carlo/Monaco's top 10 restaurants) was complete with foie gras, sea bass, lamb, chocolate fondant and Grand Marnier Souffle... a perfect ending to an amazing meal. We finished the night in a small club cut into the side of a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean.

We return to the ancestral manse
... located in a parking garage. Well, it’s not exactly in the parking garage itself, but just off “Level 0,” which is three circular stories below the “+3” entrance level. We had arranged a rendezvous with old friends whom we had met there. We saw Anne with her infant son Emmanuel, who inexplicably was no longer a baby, but now ten years old! And our good friend Paula was there too.

Le Weekend in La Bocca
... the village, we approached a group of 18 to 20 year old girls running around, shrieking and taking pictures of each other topless. No harm done as it was fairly playful. What was interesting is that they were not French, and we knew before we came close enough to hear them speak that they were not French.
