But the people were very friendly and very helpful, filling up skippy with blue diesel which was alot cheaper then normal but smells funny! Hopefully it will be ...

... again and find a nice traditional Albanian place to eat. We all have different grilled meats, lamdb, pork and chicken, salad for three, potaties and a beer each. Comes to 2300 leke, about $24. We head down the hill satisfied. By the time we get home, itvis 10.00. I say my goodbyes as I will be leaving for the bus station early tomorrow to get to Berat.

Really enjoyed a look at Gjirokaster, a very interesting town. ...

... turn iff for the Blue Eye.

The Blue Eye is a natural water spring located in the forest. It pumps out beautifully fresh water at a rate of 7500 litres a second. Its quite something to see and the stream flows quite quickly all the way to the ocean near Sarande, about 22 kms away. And yet, you cant drink the water in Sarande. Does not make sense. I walk around taking some pictures in the beautiful area which reminds me of the area ...

... collapse. The owners were then supposed to clean it up but they havent. So there are a lot of incomplete buildings and quite a number of collapsed ones. I am not keen to hang around, the bus is delaying, so I offer a local taxi 300 leke ($3) to take me the last 6 kms. Money well spent.

Once we go over the hill from Ksamil it is like another world. Really beautiful. Looks like northern Greece, rocky and shepherds looking after ...
