      ... of 100 or so tourists were quite fanatical and reminded us of the scenes seen in Hollywood with celebrities.

      After that, we thought it would be rude not to have some BBQ at the best restaurant in Memphis. We decided to order a full rack of ribs and a pulled pork roll and were completely stuffed! Next we listened to "Louisiana Mojo Queen, Ms Zeno, and her Memphis Kings band" play some blues into the evening whilst indulging in a couple of cheeky lagers at a bar on Beale ...

      Went to the amazing Graceland. So sad to me when I heard Elvis's first song through my headphones, during our tour and seeing his place that he entertained in, and having thoughts of such a tragedy the loss of Elvis really was. A bittersweet experience.

We then strolled through some rather eerie streets of abandoned factories and residences, to find the perfectly preserved motel where Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. With the 1960s cars still parked outside. We passed an old movies supply shop selling popcorn, lighting, seats... It has probably been closed since the 60s and never occupied since!
