I left my hometown in Winterset, Iowa, on August 26th, which was also the day of my 23rd birthday, mainly for a poetic start. My father had planned to join me on his Victory Vegas for the first week of the trip before driving back to the farm in Iowa. It was featured on the TV show Man vs Food for its humongous burger...we went for the ribs and wings and were still eating the leftovers the next day. ...
