    ... and she was able to truly enjoy all the rides she attempted, and Tad and I felt a bit more relaxed knowing she was pretty water safe.     Mia is out of surgery and in ICU. We had a good report from the surgeon. In his words, her heart is "normal" now. A little bump in recovery when she had an allergic reaction to some medication they gave her in OR so they had to leave breathing tube in longer than ...

By comparing Ashkelon to sites like Lachish, Azekah and Tel Dan, it became easier to understand how the city fit in the rest of Israel.     Today was meant to be our Houston Space center day. After thawing our car a bit with the help of a man who poured warm water on our windshield we drove slowly to the space center. It was only 5 minutes away but even this was a little tricky with traffic/roads diverted etc.
