Today was a day of meeting with a variety of academics/practitioners.

We had breakfast with Professor Richards. A Brit, originally from Liverpool, now in academia in St Louis specialising in media law (defamation/privacy/data) and criminal law. Therefore an ideal match for Clara (a media lawyer) and I. Clara particularly enjoyed the breakfast on offer at the typical American brekkie diner- Clara Pancakes! Prof Richards is very down to earth, it was great to meet ...

Our day continues in St Louis- the free breakfast followed by a visit to the Arch, then return to the hotel -still no bag- then off to the Botanic Gardens as we are meeting Mark at our hotel at 2.30.

Literally threw things in a bag and in the car when it wouldn't fit in the bag, grabbed Michael for breakfast at Waffle House and took off.
Siri said go SOUTH on 575 which seemed ...

... to find a new one somewhere and we had postcards to put in the mail. First stop was reception where we were told there's nowhere in the CBD to buy luggage but we were given directions to the closest Walmart.. a 20 minute train ride and then a taxi.. hmmm might have to just use the broken bag. We also got directions to the Post Office which we were assured was only about 3 blocks down from the Convention Center so once we had walked the two blocks to the Metro stop at the Convention ...
