... morning Kelly procured coffee and kolaches from somewhere and brought them back to the room. We walked around the town for a bit, looking at antique stores and gift shops. Ate lunch at the Dodging Duck Brewhaus - really good hamburger and pretzel. Boerne is a great little town; somewhat like Fredricksburg but much smaller and less crowded (but it was a Wednesday, weekends might be busier). We might have to come back here we liked it so much.

Bill: We have played golf four times now. This time we found the Palmilla Beach Golf Club, a new resort course just near the Mustang Island State Park where we stayed this week. This round was a special treat—ocean side views, rolling sand dunes, and we both played great. The Head Pro was very accommodating, the course was immaculate, the staff knowledgeable and informative, and I only lost one golf ball.
