In about 9 days I am leaving for San Ramon, Costa Rica. I will be in Costa Rica for five months as I spend a semester studying abroad. I have always dreamed of studying abroad and knew it was something important for me to do. While it is going to be hard to leave my family and the people I care about I know that this adventure will allow me to grow as a person. I am eager to improve my spanish skills and experience the culture. I will be leaving January 16th! I will ...

We went to breakfast with Zach (I got to ride shotgun in Roxy, and got to witness Southern friendliness firsthand), where we all over-ordered and basically died from our food consumption. Visited Whole Foods. Took a trip down the halls of PDS (far too nice), and then hung out at his house. We went to a Charlotte Knights game with his mom (his dad wasn't feeling well), which was super fun. Then we got dinner at a place with great biscuits, and just hung out some ...

The Charlotte airport was a mess. It had been shut down for 2 - 3 days this past week because of the snow storm that went through. So there was a lot of people trying to get out of Charlotte. I listed myself on a flight at 2:35. There was also a flight at 1:00 that got cancelled so I figured there was no way I was going to get on that 2:35 flight because they moved everyone that was on the 1:00 flight to the 2:35 flight along with other people that were in the ...
