The summer has gone by very quickly since we arrived back in Nova Scotia in April.
Our daughter Heather and her family were home from New Zealand for a few weeks during the summer. In September, Karen flew to Cold Lake for two weeks to spend some time with Laura and Will after the birth of our fourth grandchild, a grandson.

It's pronounced "New MAD-rid" not “New Muh-DRID”, by the way. I found that out when we stopped by the local grocery store to find out if they had a laundromat in town. “In New MAD-rid? The St. Louis Arch is something I will recommend to everyone. It was a bit of a challenge to get the monster parked, but we did it.
