      ... storm. It's only by divine grace (or sheer dumb luck) that we were not in a major accident. The rest of the trip passed quickly, and our drive was heralded with strong winds and bouts of heavy rain. Towards the end of our drive, we crossed over the Mississippi river and felt a sense of calm and peace that we had made it all in one piece.
