    During the Cold War of the 1960s, Cubans escaping the Castro regime built a bolt hole in Calle Ocho, Miami. The intellectuals, philosophers and politically galvanised would meet at the El Pub cafe to discuss, plan and argue. Down the road, they made a shaded plaza to play dominoes and chess.     ... sitting on it. We walked out and jumped in a cab that brought us to our hotel in Miami Beach. We are right in the middle of the action and 2 blocks back from the beach. Great location, the room however is tiny but definitely comfortable enough. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so they let us go out to the change rooms by the pool and get changed and have a shower. After a long day of travel it brought us back to life.     ... san fran to vegas then burning man and back for cleaning. Pretty crazy since the average mileage per year on a car used for gettin to work and that back home is 10,000!!!!
