I had less than 8 hours in Nuremburg, a city famed for its christmas market and war trials. My day of cultural curiousities was spent exploring the Germanisches National Museum, craft and food shops, and Bavarian restaurants. I loved the river view over the bridge and the beautiful bay windows in the old quarter.

Nürnberg is nice
... then we had coffee and apfelstrüdel! We need a couple of those back home along highway 80... In spite of the break (or maybe because of it!) we got bored about 45 minutes on and we pulled off the road somewhere into a little abandoned rest area. There were a few other trucks in the same place...we parked next to a huge leafy tree, tipped the seats back and took a nap! About 40 minutes later we were refreshed and back on the road. We finally arrived here a little before 5 ...
