... we exit the ship. It, like the others, has all of the souvenirs you can imagine. On the stage, young are girls doing highland dances for the crowd. As we enter the city we pass by two large and historic churches and the very old Rodd Inn. Despite it being a Monday morning, the city seems very sleepy. A lobster restaurant is located 100 yards to the left of the ship. We make a note of this place for a future trip.
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada lornekey... bereits Mitte September fertig.

In Cavendish ...
Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada swissbear... It plays along the sea coast and features booming forced carries, canyon-like bunkers, undulating greens, strong on-shore breezes and carries a slope of 148 from the tips. A tough layout.

We had several interesting adventures at Crowbush. One featured a fox who joined us on the seventh hole. He/she would come right up to the golf carts and would not be intimidated by the threat of a putter between the eyes (perhaps having seen the accuracy with which ...

Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada andy_n... s going to go visit Emily tomorrow for a few days.

Monday: Miserable, rainy, misty, day. Drive Alexis to Emily’s at the north-eastern tip of PEI and Nick and I hang out at the trailer. We have supper then Nick drives to the ferry to pick Louise up. Louise takes the truck to go visit Denise. She’ll be back in the morning to take the ferry back to Nova Scotia and John. Nick and I watch the movie Slumdog Millionaire, the story of a teenage orphan from Mumbai who ...
Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada cobra1899... ass - it's lobster poop you idiots! Oh well, we settle for awful roast beef and assorted fixins of poor to passable quality. But our server Bethany is a sweetie, and the blueberry pie ala mode saves the experience. Night doesn't finally come up here till 11pm, just as we arrive back at the homestead. Time for a few more laughs and hugs before the final night in Charlottetown. Here endeth the part of the trip I'll always cherish.
Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada scrabubbly... it. I amused myself taking pictures of it and tried not to think about how AWFUL it must be in summer if they need that kind of infrastructure in such an apparently lonely place. 700 miles and about 5 minutes later I dragged into a leafy driveway that led to a HUGE car-park and waded across the tarmac. Did I mention it was fairly warm? Good grief. I had come with no intention of actually going into the house - I just wanted a quick look and a photo before going to the Avonlea theme ...
Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada southern-fairy... day so it gave me an extra day to plan things. I headed up to Cavendish, where the popular author Maud Montgomery grew up and wrote the popular works "Anne of Green Gables" and "Anne of Avonlea. To be truthful none of this really interested me but there was a nice campsite in the area and only a short distance away from these famous attractions so I thought I would at least have a look while I was there. Once I had checked in (after calling ...
Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada daslink... a musical based on the 2nd and 3rd books of the Anne of Green Gables series. I actually loved these books growing up, and enjoyed the musical, cheesiness and all. Turns out that the musical was co-written by a teacher at Wexford high school, which is in Scarborough not too far from where I grew up. My mom also knew the guy playing Gilbert.

Summerside is a sleepy, adorable, town. I really enjoyed the boardwalk; it's very tidy, lots of the stores ...
