    ... was on moving walkways, admittedly they were 5 of the longest walkways I've ever seen!
    Back to the Burj. Before you get to the entrance section you walk through a mall. How unusual I hear you say! Again the mall, this time the Mall of Dubai is huge. There are a couple of photos of the fish tank that you encounter prior to the tower entrance. You can actually walk through it for a price, suffix to say we walked around it for free (did I mention we already paid for a taxi?). ...

    ... in under 60 seconds. Afterwards we had dinner at Cheesecake Factory. When the sun started to go down we jumped on a tour bus that took us all over the city and the Palm islands as well. We took some great pictures of Burj Al Arab and the Atlantis Hotel. We ended the tour with the musical experience of the dancing Dubai fountain. Yes it is bigger than the one in Vegas.     ... to go and check it out but not that badly so we cut our losses and went exploring the Dubai Mall instead.

    ... most mornings and I sat back on my lilo under the umbrella and enjoyed the clear blue water, golden sand and absolute serenity. It was lovely to become part of the Hatton household. I enjoyed a few school runs, helped Lily with her homework and attended Hattie's school art day with the other mums.
