Cracking a bottle of wine Steve was doing his bit cooking but wasn't keeping his eye on the steaks....these ended up as charcoal coasters he was gutted, but the burgers and salad were really good. Getting near to the new year celebrations, Steve explained that all the roads going to the fireworks would be gridlocked so people ...

... safari tonight and we both woke refreshed and much better for the rest. 4pm we were picked up in our 4WD and then collected another couple before heading out towards Sharjah into the desert. Our driver was excellent, and the car was state of the art. Once in the desert, we visited the camel farm, let some air out of the tyres and we were off for some dune bashing... It was excellent fun, hanging on the "holy cow" bar as we literally surfed the dunes. Yassaf, the driver ...
