      ... building at about 12:02. Parking in Europe is rather comical, you can essentially park anywhere that has open pavement, or is somewhat out of the way. Remember all of the cars here are tiny, so they jam those little cars into tight spots everywhere. We drove up & down the street two times before finding a spot. Then ran to the front desk to alert the receptionist of our arrival. We were in the wrong building! Thank goodness the front desk woman spoke english, and was able to ...

      Museum at Academia for a bit of culture- lots of painting of last supper that were rescued(?) from churches in town. Some really old 14c stuff and some more recent restored items. Amazing brushwork and huge alter pieces some with bible stories that were new to me. Spent arvo wandering lanes and canals. Pizza at same restaurant. ...

      ... but is still easier than the track down from the main road to the apartment. Wendy makes a fabulous salad and we take ourselves and the food and beer down to the garden where we enjoy an excellent lunch. The afternoon then is spent lounging around enjoying the sun and the view. Dinner we eat in - Liz has made spaghetti which is great and the wine we bought in Bellagio sets it off beautifully.       ... so we arranged a taxi via Villa Cipressi. There was some confusion as to the time for pick up but eventually we were collected and arrived at the restaurant.
