      Welcome to my travelling blog. If anyone is at all interested this can be a quick and easy way to update lots of different people all at once so enjoy if you fancy some bedtime reading! So I've had my last weekend at home. It's been emotional of course ;) and I'm starting to really realise the big trip is fast approaching. About time!       ... We continued to eat our way around the markets however! We had waffles, donuts, more mulled wine and even had deep fried cheese. We finished off the night with a ride on the Ferris wheel, which was a little scary going up for me as I'm not so good with heights.       ... of Aynho Park which is a large 17th-C mansion with a 21st -C sculpture (I think) in its front garden. Amazingly it doesn't actually look out of place in the village. The church stands beside the house and looks to have been built around the same time.

      Am now enjoying the view across the canal with a field of cows and their calves in the foreground, the embankment of the railway behind and watching the hares chasing each other somewhere in between.
