... out a little. Jamaica is nothing like we expected it to be. First of all, it is fairly heavily treed with evergreens rather than palm trees. We saw some unusual palms that looked like giant fans. We drove about half an hour to the Green Grotto Caves and toured them. The front rooms of the cave had at one time been a club and had all kinds of alcoves dug into them. The cave had been used to hide pirates, to conceal run-away slaves, and to store bauxite. The paths were well-lit and wide ...

Sad to leave the beauty of the Jamaican people, the warm water on my feet, the gorgeous sunsets and the girls on this trip. Also, J our fearless leader. He kept us in check and made it fun. I don't want to go back to a Canadian winter. Not quite yet. ...

... gave me an explanation and a tour and then left. He called me at 7 to check and see if I needed anything.
I even managed to find my way around the resort, mostly. Lisa had a massive suite. Danielle had a swanky room also.
We hung out in her room for a bit. Not much happening there as it's couples only.

... brought us to 45 minutes prior to boarding and their systems went down.
We made it although we left later due to the weather which while we waited for boarding and on the aircraft had turned to snow. So, after some de-icing we finally took off for Toronto. Weather there was overcast but fine.
We got into Jamaica and it felt like we'd been travelling for days. I slept some on both ...

... a lot of good food! Jerk is sort of a smoked barbecue, fish, chicken, porc, then the side orders: Festival (like a stick of yellowish corn bread), yam, breadfruit etc.
But I don't always eat out, we have a kitchen in the guesthouse. Jamaica is expensive after Central America. Also supermarket. First time grocery shopping I thought I didn't hear well at the cashier.
I anyways don't understand the ...
